RCO GOLD AWARD
ReGround Organics was recently named as one of the Recycling Council of Ontario's Gold Award Winners in the category of Product Innovation. ReGround Organics is a new green energy company. We collect waste coffee grounds and recycle them into usable products. The RCO Awards - Recycling Council of Ontario's annual recognition program highlights achievement in waste reduction and diversion. The awards were handed out at the RCO Awards Luncheon during Waste Reduction Week at the Allstream Centre in Toronto. The program is open to businesses and municipalities across Ontario in six categories, and measures and scores applicants according to their achievement in reducing waste; ability to prevent wastes through consumption and purchasing habits; success in sorting and tracking generated materials to recycling; and overall waste minimization.
Reground Organics was named a gold winner for product innovation.
